Playscape Performs is a series of programs happening in and around the Battery Playscape and Showbox Theater in downtown Battery Park NYC. These programs include dance, music, theater, puppetry, visual arts, and a general openness to the “performance” happening in the harbor and the natural world all around.
This Identity was created to promote the programming series, and brand the Playscape as something beyond your typical playground.
Created in collaboration with The Battery Conservancy.
Graphics evoke a sense of discovery, the freedom to explore, and the connection to the natural world.
A custom alphabet (Playscape Sans) feels rounded and friendly, appealing to the kid in all of us.
