Third Street is poster series
Third Street is the nation's longest-running community music school, providing music and dance instruction to more than 5,000 students each year. Third Street provides high-quality music and dance education through on-site, public-school and community programs, as well as an arts-infused preschool, to New Yorkers of all ages, regardless of background, artistic ability or economic circumstance.
This poster series was designed to uplift students of all ages as they returned to in-person instruction, and remind the Third Street community of the joy, excellence, and fun that happens in the building.
Graphics are inspired by genres, programs, and play. Elemental and universal interpretations of music, dance and community are daily moments of joy.
In addition to posters on the exterior facade, a family of exuberant messages greet students of all ages throughout the building.
