The power of the people explored through a cultural lens.

Antigone Now: Onassis Festival 2016

Launched in 2015, the annual festival of arts and ideas—Onassis Festival explored the relevance of the classical tradition to the present day through innovative and adventurous programs across disciplines and for all ages.

The free four-day festival explored contemporary interpretations of the ancient Greek story of Antigone, highlighting the principle of working for a cause and following a moral path, and included art, dance, films, music, talks, and activities for all ages.

The hand drawn heart and arrow icon was conceived as a combination of love and the power of uprising. Brush lettering feels human and also lends air of expectancy.
